Two Flowcrete Systems Qualify as Cleanroom Suitable Materials

Two of Flowcrete’s epoxy based floor and wall coating systems are now able to better demonstrate their suitability for use within cleanroom environments having qualified as Cleanroom Suitable Materials under the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA).

Both Flowshield SL - a colourful, high-gloss, self levelling epoxy floor coating and Flowseal EPW Wall - a pigmented, hygienic epoxy based wall sealer have met the requirements of a number of cleanroom standards set out by the IPA in accordance with the CSM test parameters.

Success for the First CII Flooring Conference

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), alongside supporting organisations and partners, have successfully concluded its first technical flooring conference, of which Flowcrete India was a co-sponsor.

The event, entitled ‘Industrial and Commercial Flooring – Technology, Trends and Innovation’, was held on the 27^th and 28^th September at the Chennai Trade Centre and was a fantastic opportunity for the attending delegates to learn about the best practices, the latest technologies and the stellar achievements of enterprises in the sector. The conference particularly highlighted the flooring industry’s future leaders and potential disruptors.

Flowcrete’s Flooring Advice for the Winery Industry

India’s wine industry is currently seeing an unprecedented period of growth, with an estimated production of 18 million litres this year, up from 17 million last year, and reaching 21 million litres by 2018.

This progress is being driven in part by a rising youth population combined with increasingly affluent numbers of middle class consumers – and there’s still a lot of potential in the market, as the current number of wine drinkers in the country is believed to be only around 20 per cent of India’s total population.

Severe rainfall between 1st and 2nd December caused the city’s worst floods in over a century. This led to a tragic humanitarian disaster of over 200 fatalities, significant damage to property, the temporary closure of businesses and a breakdown in public services.
