Ramanujan IT SEZ Park

Flowcrete India created a custom-built car park coating for one of India’s foremost technological complexes that matched the demanding criteria of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd (TRIL).

TRIL, the developers of the Ramanujan IT Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Park, required a specific embedded texture combined with a particular orange peel effect for the top coating of its car park and ramps.

Flowcrete India formulated a new product to integrate these two factors. The end result of the flooring specialist’s research and invention was Deckcoat OP. The client was pleased with this new system, as it precisely met the needs of the Ramanujan IT SEZ Park.

The entire project took 12 months to complete and covered 120,000m² of the site’s car park and ramps. Deckcoat OP was used in combination with Flowcoat HS throughout the installation.

TRIL started construction of the US$ 230 million IT park in 2008 and it is already home to some of the world’s top IT companies.
