Delphi Connection Systems

Flowcrete India has collaborated with Delphi Connection Systems to provide flooring for its critical centre in Cochin.

Cochin is in fact home to two critical centres of Delphi’s global product portfolio for Safety-Restraint Systems.

A total of 700m² of Flowcrete’s Flowprime was laid in the production area of the centre before being coated with 700m² of Flowshield SL.

Flowprime is typically used in production areas where the floor is subject to high foot and trolley traffic due to its high degree of abrasion resistance.

The installation process took Flowcrete’s team of licensed applicators just three days to complete and the client was more than satisfied with the end result.

Throughout the installation the company’s workforce was on shutdown from production and tasked with cleaning their machinery. This made it very challenging for the applicators to protect the surface but the team came together in order to overcome the problem.

Delphi Connection Systems India is one of seven global manufacturing plants for SRS, while a global tool centre is also located next door.
